Rovers boss PaulTrollope said: "We came here in good confidence after some excellent results while retaining a healthy respect for Norwich because we knew the quality they had.
"Unfortunately we couldn't cope with the threat they posed, we couldn't reach their level, and there were some defensive issues out there which we will need to work on.
"In fact, there were a lot of issues we need to work on because we weren't able to reach the level that has taken us to the position we were at the start of play.
"Having said that, we are still third in the table after 11 games and if you'd offered me that at the start of the season I would happily have taken it."
