Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope admitted that goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen was inspired as they held Brentford to a goalless draw with 10 men. The home side had full-back Gary Sawyer sent off for a second bookable foul after 70 minutes and in the end were grateful for a share of the spoils after Andersen made four fine saves to deny Myles Weston, Charlie MacDonald, Gary Alexander and Nicky Adams. Trollope said: "Our first half performance was our best at home this season. The passing and movement were great, but we didn't carry it in to the second half. "We never got to grips with the game after the break. We tried to force things too much and lost some of the energy in our play. "We were bold in the system we played, and, even when we went down to 10 men, we kept two strikers on the pitch. "That left us a bit exposed and Mikkel had to make some saves. Some of the lads felt Gary Sawyer was a bit unlucky in his second challenge for a bouncing ball, but I don't have any real complaints about the sending off."
