Bristol Rovers' boss Paul Trollope was bitterly disappointed following the 1-0 defeat by Tranmere at the Memorial Stadium. Dale Jennings struck his first senior goal on the stroke of half-time to hand Rovers their first away win of the season and leave Trollope's men empty handed. "It was a very frustrating night for us," Trollope said. "We knew Tranmere would be looking to bounce back from their defeat at Colchester and that they would be tight and compact. "After 15 minutes I was really happy. We forced a couple of saves and started the game very well. We just couldn't keep it going. We dropped the tempo, didn't get the ball forward with as much quality and allowed Tranmere back into the game. "Now we face a tough away trip to Huddersfield on Saturday and we certainly have to be better than we were in the final 70 minutes. "In a number of games we have played well in patches and it's all about finding consistency."
