Dave Savage has made a U-turn on his Bristol Rovers future. Early this season the player requested a transfer in order to move nearer his home in Northampton.
This request was later withdrawn following a return to the team, and some excellent performances on the left wing. Savage stated he was happy to wait until the end of his contract this summer before a move.
Savage has now announced that he would like to sign a new deal with the Gas.
However, his wish may not come true as Aaron Lescott was signed to replace him, this has left Ian Atkins with a deficit in his wage budget.
