Ian Atkins has promised to begin re-shaing his squad after Rovers' season was effectively ended by elimination from the LDV Vans trophy.
Kevin Miller will not have his deal renewed in the summer, and the remaining games of the season will see long term understudy Ryan Clarke return in goal, in order to stake his claim to be number one next term.
36-year old Miller may be offered a coaching role, although he could persue his career elsewhere. Former Rovers, Bolton and Carlisle 'keeper Matt Glennon is rumoured to have been approached to be Clarke's understudy.
In defence Christian Edwards could move back home to Swansea, but Steve Elliott and John Anderson are expected to stay. Former Birmingham defender Jon Bass has joined Rovers on trial. Craig Hinton and Robbie Ryan are expected to be retained, although if an offer comes in for either player a move could be considered.
Rovers will welcome back Ali Gibb and Stuart Campbell from long term injury in the new season, and Aaron Lescott, James Hunt and Craig Disley are likely to stay. Pauyl Trollope could be allowed to go, and Dave Savage is unlikely to be offered a new deal. Accrington Stanley left winger Rory Prendergaast remains top of Atkins wish list.
The forward department is an area that could undergo the largest changes. Junior Agogo may leave as he only has one year left on his contract and Rovers will be anxious to make a profit on the £100,000 they paid for him.
Jamie Forrester could leave for free after only being allowed limited opportunities. Richard Walker is fighting for a new deal, and is currently scoring goals - so could stay. Youngsters Lewis Haldane and Scott Sinclair will be given opportunities to impress in the final weeks of the season. Atkins is also desperate to sign utility man Ricky Shakes.
