Former Real Madrid and Walsall midfielder Pedro Matias has signed for Bristol Rovers on a non-contract basis.
The Spanish player played 141 games for Walsall, many under ex-Rovers boss Ray Graydon, and bagged 24 goals.
Matias has also had spells in England with Tranmere, Macclesfield and Blackpool, and spells in Spain with Real Madrid's 'B' and 'C' teams, as well as Almeria, Logrones and Terrassa.
The new signing impressed Ian Atkins in a number of reserve outings and has been awarded shirt number 35.
