Ian Atkins yesterday swooped into the transfer market, completing the signing of Plymouth forward Blair Sturrock on a months loan.
Blair is the son of former Plymouth, Southampton and current Sheffield Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock, and signed for Plymouth while his father was manager.
He has made a total of 9 starts for Plymouth plus 54 substitute apperances, and scored twice. Opportunities in recent times have become scarce, Plymouth only play one up front, and Mickey Evans, Steve Crawford, Marino Keith and Steven Milne are ahead of him in the pecking order.
Sturrock played in Tuesday's reserve game against Cardiff and scored in the 4-2 win. It is unclear where Sturrock will fit in Ian Atkins plans as up front he already has Agogo, Forrester, Thorpe, Walker and Haldane avaliable, although Thorpe is serving a one-match ban.
