Pirates Challenge Pilgrims in Decider

This year's League Cup sees a Preliminary Round take place as First Division Ipswich Town could be in Europe, and would be entitled a bye to the Third Round which would leave an uneven number of teams in the competition.
The Football League decided that based on last year's performance, Rovers and Boston will have to go through an extra match.
Whoever wins the qualifying game on Tuesday 20th August (kick-off 7:45pm) will play host to big-spending Cardiff City in the First Round on 9th/10th September.
