Bristol Rovers forward Jo Kuffour believes he can forge a fruitful strike partnership with new-boy Will Hoskins this season. Hoskins played a major part in Kuffour's first goal of the campaign in the 2-1 win over Yeovil last weekend, and Kuffour thinks the former Watford player could play a similar role to Paul Heffernan, who bagged four goals in 11 outings during a loan stint at the Memorial Stadium last season. "Will's a great player and someone I knew before he came here," Kuffour told the Bristol Evening Post. "He scores a lot of goals and he's good when it comes to link-up play so, hopefully, we can forge a good partnership. "I thought Paul Heffernan did that well when he was with us and Will is a similar sort of player to Heffs in some ways so, hopefully, he and I can do the same. We have time to work on it."
