Chairman Nick Higgs has stated that Bristol Rovers must turn their poor start to the season around soon. Paul Trollope's men have won just once in all competitions, were dumped out of the Carling Cup 6-1 by League Two Oxford and suffered a 4-0 home defeat to Southampton last weekend. "We are all very aware that something needs to be done, and quickly, to halt the bad run of form that has blighted the start of our season," said Higgs in his column on the club's official website. "I believe that the talent is there, but for some reason things have not yet clicked into place. "As a dedicated Rovers fan these performances hurt me and they will not be tolerated. "There is a long way to go, but things need to be put right quickly."
