Ian Atkins circulated the names of Christian Edwards and Paul Trollope on Monday as he prepares to clear out his squad.
Trollope has failed to make an impact in his time with Rovers, he was signed on a two year deal last summer, joining from Northampton.
Edwards was purchased by Ray Graydon in 2003, and could return to former club Swansea on a free transfer. Edwards had been a mainstay of the team until last month when poor performances and a change in system cost him his place.
They join Dave Savage, Sonny Parker and Kevin Miller in leaving, all three will be released at the end of this season.
