New Bristol Rovers shot-stopper Luke Daniels is setting his sights on promotion this season. The West Bromwich Albion keeper has signed for Rovers on a season-long loan in search for first team opportunities. The 22-year-old has spent the majority of his time at the Baggies out on loan, notching up over 80 appearances at Shrewsbury, Tranmere and Motherwell. "I've had the highs and the lows of chasing promotion and battling against relegation," Daniels told BBC Radio Bristol. "Hopefully this year we can get to the right end of the table and see what develops." He added: "I'm of an age where I need to be playing week in, week out and the manager is giving me that opportunity. Hopefully it will work for both parties."
