Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope told BBC Points West: "We're in for a tough game as they've got individuals who have played at a higher level.
Trollope wary of Notts County attack
"But we're looking forward to it after a good away win.
"They've made a solid start in League One and we know all about them and their strengths but also their weaknesses that we feel we can exploit.
"We were very pleased with the first-half against Brentford.
"I think it was the best football and best tempo that we've played and we'll be looking to replicate that."
Notts County boss Craig Short told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We didn't want extra-time [in the midweek Carling Cup tie with Wolves].That was the last thing we wanted. We wanted to get it over and done with.
"We had one eye on Saturday - especially when you go down to 10 men and you have 30 extra minutes with 10 men.
"Obviously I was proud of the performance and when you're in that position you want to win the game, but extra-time does take a lot out of you. They are a fit bunch but we do need to rest them."
